Welcome to Heart House Community. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of HeartHouseCommunity.com (the “Site”) and any resources, content, or peer support community we offer. Please read them carefully. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
About Heart House Community
Heart House Community, operated by Anita Anderson, offers books, written resources, and a vetted peer support community for survivors with dissociative identity disorder (DID) and those who care for them. Our work is grounded in lived experience, study, and a relational faith, and is offered in a spirit of gentleness and respect.
Important — Not Professional or Medical Advice
Heart House Community offers peer support, encouragement, and personal reflection. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic care. Nothing on this Site or within our community constitutes professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
We are not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in crisis or believe you may be in danger, please reach out for immediate help. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or dial 911 for emergencies.
We warmly encourage you to seek and continue care with qualified professionals. The content we share reflects personal experience and perspective, and your own needs may differ. Please use your own judgment and consult appropriate professionals about your situation.
